GRONINGEN - THE NETHERLANDS
Our SS’21 collection Puzzling is produced at Kleerlijk in the city of Groningen. We chose Kleerlijk as our partner as they made it possible for us to produce completely locally. Our main goal! We have visited Kleerlijk to develop our own custom made fit for the T-Shirts from the SS’21 collection. Thanks to our partner we have been able to produce our clothing locally in an ethical and responsible way. Kleerlijk employs three tailors with a refugee background, they can produce in small quantities to avoid deadstock and everything is put together in their studio from start to finish.
UTRECHT - THE NETHERLANDS
Our SS’21 and AW’20 collections have been established with help from the Katoenfabriek in the city of Utrecht. They have printed and embroidered all the artwork to our pieces. It was important to us to partner up with a local printing house that values sustainability as much as we do. At the Katoenfabriek it was possible to have our shirts screen printed with water based ink, that have little or no solvents and are GOTS certified. In addition, the Katoenfabriek is sustainable throughout their operations, from waste seperation to LED lightning.
AMSTERDAM - THE NETHERLANDS
For the finishing of our SS’20 and AW’20 collections we collaborated with Sam Tailor. We came into contact with Fahdi, the owner of Sam Tailor, through Makers Unite. This is an organization that brings entrepeneurs into contact with newcomers in order to foster partnerships between both groups. Fahdi fled from Syria to the Netherlands a few years ago to start a new life here. In Syria he had a flourishing atelier and it was his dream to rebuild his atelier here in the Netherlands.
